New Zealand Jigging legend Chris Wong recently spent a day out fishing on board Screamin Reelz. Chris is director of Jigstar NZ and supplies Jigstar rods and jigging accessories to the local NZ market. Was a great day to watch a master jigger in action with Chris landing several fish on light custom built rods.

A brief video describing one of the methods we use with Tai-Kabura type vertical jigs. In this case, we are using a small 3/4 oz (21gr) jig tied above a 5.5 oz jig (150gr). When this set up is jigged properly, the smaller kabura will “pop” and change direction quickly. We believe this unique action draws strikes.
